Located in the remote island of Pug on first line of the coast, the house’s  prefabricated visible concrete finish blends seamlessly into the island rugged landscape.

This is a family home conceived for “summer easy living”. On the ground level, the whole perimeter is made of sliding glass walls that open fully into both the sea front and the lavender fields and mountain behind it – a visual connector of all vistas.

On the upper floor, stretched metal mesh screens provide sun protection, yet maintaining the connection with the surrounds. A sculptural staircase works not only as a connection between floors, but also as a “path” that brings the outdoors into the upper floor.

The vision of relaxed, uncomplicated living is completed with an external kitchen in the living and swimming pool area, permitting two simultaneous socialising areas under one roof.
